Is with a pleasure that our team who are students at Oakland International High School went close to their schoolmates and ask them question about What school rules should be revised? They all came out with different answer but all agreed that the principal was the one who have power.
we going to interview Lal. Lal is 11 grade from Oakland International High School. What is the school rule you would like to change" I think the best rules is that students can chew gum in class because it doesn’t affect their studies."when do you think this rules can be applicable?" This rule should be accept before February 2, because it will give them(teachers &others) time to discus about it and they can find discuses in one week." He also add that "we student at any times, any where chew gum with the maturity of none disturbed others with it."Tell us about the reason why he wants to change this rule?"It's because we students, want to chew is cool and fun.Chewing gum doesn't change students life but it just entertain our mouth. "How would you feel once this rule applicable?"I will feel happy because we are not going to have anymore teachers on our back telling us to throw gum away"How do you things your friends will react?"Other students will be happy and shouting about the new good news."Do you things student will watch their back by throwing their gum ?"I think it depend on people we all have different education and manners. Some have good others no, so I'm not really sure but I hope they can all throw it into a trash."
One of my member went to ask a Chinese boy who came here for a few months. His name is Wei Quar Yang. "I think the people who have power t o change the rules at school is Ms. Carmelita because she is the principle of our school"
The rule that he want to revising is "I will says rule that talk about eating food in class. Some students wake up late and no time to eat at home, they much eat food in the class. Teacher always says we can't eat in class because we will leave mas. Bu t I think all should have right to eat food in class" Tsering also ask him about when this rules should be accepted and where it should be applicable? "I think this rules should accept before February and it can be any time anywhere in our school" We also ask him to give a reason why he want to change this rules? "I'm the once who was wake up too late and don't have time to eat breakfast. So I want to eat some food dueing class" Back to his feel about how this rules have change his life. He laugh and says, "Ha ha let think about if we don't eat breakfast and come to study, we not going to have work in our brain. And cant work that well" We ask Wei Quar for the last question about other students opinion. His answer was"Other student who is sleep very lat and need to wake up early like me , we all get the same answer. which says we want to eat food during class but not the whole class."
Suthida going to interview the last person. Her name is Nanako who from Japan and mix America's parents. Let heard from her, Who was the people that you think can change the rules? Nanoka says "I think is Ms Carmelita but other people is all students who agree the revise the rules" She also tell us about the rules that she want to change. "The rule that should be revising is using cell phone in class" she adds more "This rules should be accept from everyone from right now because most of student tries to use their cell phone but the teacher took their phone away" She also give us a good thing about using cell phone in class. " I think cell phone it no just for call people but we can use for other thing like translation or calculator. By other reason was for call, some of parents they worry about their kids and want to check if their kids are safe" I also ask her about her feeling of cell phone. "I feel like sometime my parent calling me to get help or call me to check that I'm safe at school" she said that other student agree with her because they want to use cell phone. "If the teacher worry about student using their you can ask them to go talk close to you or talk with their parent with student phone"
